Recognizing the signs that a student is grieving and how to best support them will be a focus of this webinar. In the past ten years, there has been increasing recognition that children who have been exposed to traumatic events can, like trauma exposed adults, develop post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). School personnel, therefore, need to be able to recognize post-traumatic stress reactions in children.

Mental Health in the K-8 Setting
