Speaker:

Nigel Wrangham joins us from Eugene, Oregon. His passion is supporting young people to find and use the tools they need to build not just a better tomorrow, but a better today.

Nigel is one of the founders of CADCA’s Youth Leadership program and has been training for CADCA since 2006. He works with groups across the United States, sharing skills in prevention, social justice, brain development, and youth leadership. Nigel has taught university courses in the science of addiction, the history of drugs in America, community organizing, and self-discovery through activities and play. When he worked in Africa as a photographer of wild chimpanzees, he also taught forest conservation to young people in local villages.

Besides working to help youth find and use their power to change society, Nigel spends time with his wife, his two disobedient cats, and his baby son. When he gets the chance, he listens to rock and roll music way louder than he probably should.
