Notice and Disclosure

This Web site does not collect personally identifiable information from your computer when you browse this Web site or request pages from our servers. This means that unless you voluntarily and knowingly provide us with personally identifiable information, we will not know your name, your e-mail address or any other personally identifiable information. Prevention First only collects personally identifiable information online from forms that you choose to complete. Sharing personal information is not required to use our Web site. However, registering with us can enable you to participate in certain site activities, such as requesting a subscription to our magazine or registering for a conference.

If you choose to complete a registration form on our Web site, Prevention First will ask for information such as your name, address and e-mail address. Some of that information will be required (not optional) to participate.

Prevention First uses “cookies” – a small file saved on your computer’s hard drive – only on the Discussion Forum login page when users click the box to: “Remember me on my next visit.” If you select this option, a cookie will be written to your computer hard drive containing your Discussion Forum user name and password. The next time you visit the Web site, the Discussion Forum user name and password boxes will contain the information in the cookie. Prevention First does not otherwise use cookies or other tracking mechanisms to collect personally or non-personally identifiable information passively as you navigate our Web site.
