December is National Impaired Driving Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness of the consequences of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The Prevention First offices in Springfield and Chicago will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025, through Thursday, January 1, 2026. During this time, we encourage you to explore our training opportunities and resources available at prevention.org. We wish you a healthy and happy new year!

At the Connections in Prevention Conference, we come together to strengthen our collective prevention efforts, focusing on community-driven approaches and person-centered care. Our goals are to encourage open dialogue about incorporating equity principles into our prevention efforts, offer opportunities for professional development, facilitate networking for meaningful collaborations, and highlight innovative best practices.
