The Robert Crown Center Heroin Prevention Program focuses on primary prevention, providing middle school and high school students, their parents and school staff with the scientific and social/emotional learning content to understand the risk of drug use, specifically targeting prescription pain medication and heroin. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) promotes and implements prevention and early intervention strategies to reduce the impact of mental and substance use disorders in America’s communities.

The Center for Substance Abuse Prevention aims to improve behavioral health through evidence-based prevention approaches.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is the lead federal agency for protecting the health and safety of people at home and abroad, providing credible information to enhance health decisions and promoting health through partnerships.

AbovetheInfluence was a program of the non-profit Partnership for Drug-Free Kids. The program aims to help teens stand up to negative pressures. They believe the more aware you are of the influences around you, the better prepared you will be to face them, including the pressure to use drugs and alcohol. This page is no longer updated; however, may have helpful information.
