Prevention First Accessibility Statement
Prevention First is committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment for everyone. We strive to ensure equitable access to training, events, materials, resources, and physical spaces.
If you have an accessibility or accommodation request, please contact us using the Accommodation Request Form below.
Thank you for reaching out to request an accommodation.
Prevention First encourages individuals to request accommodations or modifications when needed to help ensure full and effective participation in our events and services.
Reasonable accommodations for Prevention First training and events may include, but are not limited to, ASL interpretation, reserved seating at an in-person event, extended time to complete knowledge checks or evaluations, materials review ahead of training or event, lactation room access and privacy, dietary needs, etc.
Advanced notice is necessary and required for accommodation requests. While some accommodations are quicker to implement, ample time is essential for ASL services and requests that require physical space adaptations. While not binding, please use the following guidelines when making an accommodation request:

Dedicated spaces are available in the Springfield parking lot. The Chicago office does not have designated accessible parking spaces, but participants are encouraged to park in the garage across from the office, which is the closest public parking garage.

*Dietary needs are identified during the registration process for all events providing a meal.
Participants requesting accommodations who cannot attend a training or event after registration must provide a minimum of 72 hours' notice to ensure there is time to cancel services and avoid service fees.
Please note: An accommodation request must not burden either party. We must consider the costs of fulfilling the request, the time needed to provide the accommodation, and available resources. While we will work with individuals to address each accommodation, we may not be able to fulfill requests that burden our organization.
What can you expect from Prevention First once you submit this form?
