Introduction to Illinois Substance Use Intervention and Treatment Services is an online course designed for organizations licensed and/or funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services to deliver treatment, intervention, and recovery support services. During the course, participants will learn about the role of the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR) in relation to Substance Use Disorder intervention and treatment licensing; the Substance Use Disorder Act; Illinois Administrative Code - Part 2060; communication with IDHS; funding sources and requirements; and training and technical assistance.
