Topics covered in this skill-building webinar include: the intersection of mental illness and substance use disorder; making a diagnosis; three types of co-occurring disorders treatment; integrated co-occurring disorders treatment; evidence-based approaches to co-occurring disorders treatment; and long-term prognosis for adolescents with co-occurring disorders.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Articulate the intersection between mental illness and substance use disorder among adolescents.
  • recognize the components of integrated co-occurring disorder treatment
  • Work with adolescents with co-occurring disorders more effectively
